In Los Angeles, the Founder's Church of Religious Science stands as a significant example of Mid-Century Modern architecture. This historic place, located in Los Angeles County, was designed by renowned architect Paul R. Williams. The church's construction began in 1959, with its dedication taking place on January 3, 1960. The building features an elliptical plan, constructed from steel and reinforced concrete, and is capped by a large domed roof. A fourteen-foot-tall perimeter wall, made of perforated concrete breezeblocks, also defines the property.
