House at 1321 Scott Street
historic place
The house at 1321 Scott Street in San Francisco is a historic place. Built around 1885, this Stick Style building with Italianate details originally stood at 743 Turk Street. Martin O'Dea was its first owner. It survived the 1906 earthquake and fire. In November 1974, the house was moved to this Scott Street location. This relocation saved it from the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency's clearance project. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, an early designation for a San Francisco property. This site demonstrates the city's commitment to preserving its architectural heritage.
