historic place
In San Mateo, California, stands the Eichler X-100, a historic place. This experimental steel house was built by Eichler Homes in 1956. Architects Jones & Emmons designed the mid-century modern structure. The X-100 was created to showcase steel-framed housing and advanced appliances.
