All Saints' Chapel is located in Austin, Travis County, Texas. This historic Episcopal parish church was established in 1899. Its cornerstone was laid on June 17, 1899, and the first service took place on November 8, 1900. The chapel was consecrated on May 8, 1901. Originally, the chapel served female students residing in Grace Hall, a women's residence at the University of Texas at Austin, which opened in 1897. Bishop George Herbert Kinsolving proposed the chapel in 1893; his crypt is located beneath the church. Austin architect A.O. Watson designed the structure in the Gothic Revival style, using white Austin limestone. The Texas Historical Commission erected a historical marker for All Saints' Chapel in 2013. It was also designated a City of Austin Historic Landmark in 1980 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. All Saints' Chapel represents a historical connection between the Episcopal Church and the early development of women's education at the University of Texas at Austin.
