Daniel H. Caswell House

The Daniel H. Caswell House, a historic place in Austin, Travis County, Texas, was completed in 1900 by Daniel H. Caswell. It features a corner turret. After various uses, the house faced demolition by the City of Austin in 1968. Preservation efforts led to its National Register of Historic Places listing in 1975. The Austin Junior Forum purchased and restored it in 1978. Designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1984, it now serves as the Austin Junior Forum's headquarters and an event venue, preserving Austin's architectural heritage.
