Hollyfield Laundry and Cleaners, a historic place in Houston's Harris County, stands at 1731 Westheimer Road. The building was constructed in 1929. It began operations as a commercial laundry facility on February 9, 1930. J.H. Hollyfield, the owner, was noted in the Houston Post Dispatch for the laundry's spacious customer room and efficient handling of personal laundry. He also secured street parking for his delivery trucks, a detail that influenced parking on the south side of Westheimer. In March 2021, Hollyfield Laundry and Cleaners was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places. This site reflects a part of Houston's commercial and service history.
