Webber House
historic place
The Webber House, located at 1011 Heights Boulevard in Houston, Texas, is a historic place in Harris County. Brick mason Samuel H. Webber constructed this two-story residence between 1907 and 1908. The house displays a Queen Anne architectural style with Colonial Revival influences. Its brick construction is unusual for a Queen Anne home in Houston. It is considered one of the more substantial turn-of-the-century houses of its style in the Heights area. The Webber House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1984. Its architectural character and connection to its builder illustrate the growth of the middle-class population in the developing Heights neighborhood, contributing to its local historical significance.
