The Praetorian Building in Waco, Texas, is a historic seven-story structure. Construction began in 1913 and was completed in 1915. Designed by C. W. Bulger and Son, it represents the Chicago School of architecture. The Modern Order of Praetorians, a fraternal insurance organization, originally built it for their Waco chapter. This was one of Central Texas's first skyscrapers. On July 26, 1984, the Praetorian Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it houses apartments and businesses.
