historic place
The Redelsheimer-Ostrander House is a historic place in Seattle, Washington, located at 200 40th Avenue East in King County. This Georgian Revival style residence was constructed between 1913 and 1914. Seattle architect Julian F. Everett designed the house for its first owner, Seattle merchant Julius Redelsheimer. The Olmsted Brothers designed the landscape in 1917. The Redelsheimer-Ostrander House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is a significant example of early 20th-century Georgian Revival architecture and one of the first suburban estates in the Denny-Blaine Lake Park Addition.
